*Welcome to 3rd Grade!*

Hulmeville Rd. is closing at 1:00pm  on Monday, Nov. 24th. Therefore, Dismissal will be 12 Noon . Please keep Sgt. Simpson and his family in your prayers. There will not be a lunch period on Monday. The hot lunch scheduled for Monday will be served on Tuesday, Nov. 25th instead. Please see Sister Barbara's letter for any additional information.

Homework for Thursday, November 20, 2008

Religion: Study Chapter 6. Test tomorrow. Also, please continue to study the Apostles Creed.

Math: finish copybook work (writing numbers).

Spelling:  Spelling Smile. Please follow directions on  your Spelling sheet. Study for test tomorrow!

Reading:  Please study The Keeping Quilt vocab words in your ILA copybook.

Social Studies: 

*Please complete Thanksgiving Story on turkey paper (in folder). Finish coloring the turkey, also.

Please bring in a book for Silent Reading.

I will extend Scholastic Book Orders until Monday, Nov. 24th. If you would like to order, please send in your order by Monday. Thanks!

Class Trip Monday is due Friday, Nov. 12th. More information will be sent home as it gets closer to the trip.

For Missions, the 4th Grade will be selling chances for a Thanksgiving Basket. Chances are 50cents.

***Just a few additional reminders: ***

- Scholastic Book Orders due Friday, Nov. 21st. You may make one check payable to Scholastic, even if you are ordering from more than one form.

- Third Grade Class Trip - Please send in $12.00 due by Nov. 21st. More details to follows.

- In November, St. Ephrem School will remember our family and friends who are deceased. If you would like to include a family member in our "In Memoriam" Book, please write their name on a sheet of paper, and send it into school with your child.

- Please fill out forms you find in your child's folder, and return to school as soon as possible.

- Please check your child's homework each night, and sign or initial their homework copybook. Thanks for your help!

- Test folders will be going home every Monday.  Please review the tests inside the folder, and sign the “Parent Signature Sheet”.  You do not have to sign each and every test.  Please leave all tests inside the folder.
