Ask your child to show you their Smiley Face Copybook. They have review notes form different areas that they can study on their own. I review lessons everyday before starting a new concept. Also they were given a list Dolche's Sight Words, students should know these words. It helps with their writing.

Please sharpen pencils each night (3)

Please clean out folders. There are too many unnecessary papers in them. Thank you.

Please send in a napkin or piece of paper towel each day with your child's lunch.

If students use their homework pass, it is good only until 12/25/08. It must be signed by a parent, and it is to be used only for math.

Please check and sign homework book each night.

I am teaching children to be responsible. I am not checking anymore to see if they copied all their homework or packed the correct books.
