Dear Parents,

Thanksgiving is quickly approaching.  It is hard to believe that this month is almost over.  I can only hope that the damp, rainy, days are over as well.  It is so hard when the children can not get out for recess.

Could I once again please remind you to be sure the children have coats for recess.  There have been days when it has been very chilly at morning recess and some children only have their sweatshirts to wear. I hate to take the recess away from them, but I am also concerned that they will get ill.  It is better for them to have a jacket and be able to take it off than to not have one when it is needed.  The weather can change really quickly during this season.  Thanks for your help with this.

While we are talking about sweatshirts, I had to check the name tags on sweatshirts because one was found on the floor without a name.  While checking them, I found 4 shirts that did not have names in them.  Please check to be sure that your child’s name is in every shirt.  Thank you!

Mrs. Schauder, the music  teacher, is putting together the Christmas Show.  Our kindergarten will be angels in the show.  Every year we make sweatshirts for the children to wear in the show.  This year we need white sweatshirts for them.  I am telling you this now so that you can watch for sales at AC Moores or Michaels.  Perhaps you can use the coupon that is in the paper every week to purchase one.  Please be sure to put your child’s name inside on the tag and send to school whenever you get it.  Thank you!

Thank you for all your help with the Christmas Family project.  The children have been very excited about putting their change in the jar.  Please encourage them to continue.

Have a great week!  Thanks for all you do for us!

Sincerely,

Anne Gallo
