FALL FUN FESTIVAL

(Black & Orange Day)

Talent show ideas must be submitted to Mrs. Schauder NO LATER THAN Oct. 11th. Due to the lack of interest in the Talent Show, there is a good possiblity that it will be cancelled. In the event that the show is cancelled, students will remain in their classrooms until the Festival events begin at 10:00 am.  More information along with permission slips/sponsor sheets will be coming home this week. A prepaid lunch order will also be an option for lunch on the day of the Festival.

Some students still have not returned the P.E. Rubric form as of this date. All students without the form signed will not be permitted to participate until the form is returned. Rubric forms may be obtained from the on-line communication envelope.

Dedication of the new building/gym will be on Oct. 19th at 3:00 pm. The Cardinal will be there. Please try to attend if possible.

Uniform:  sweatshirt (name inside), t-shirt, sweatpants, white ankle-length socks, appropriate running/walking sneakers (tied tightly and laced to the top), no jewelry.

Week at a Glance:

Gr. K - "Crossover" - spatial awareness; safety practices.

Gr. 1-2-3 - "Shark Island" - agility.

Gr. 4-5-6 - "Basketball Snatch Ball" - basketball skills: dribbling/shooting.

Gr. 7-8 - "Maup Ball" - ball handling skills: passing/catching.
