Grades 5-8 - Draw the flag of Spain on a sheet of plain white paper. Color and decorate your flag to make it look attractive. These will be displayed in class. This assignment is due on the following dates: Grades 7, and 8: October 4, 2011, Grades 5 and 6: October 5, 2011.

Grade 3: Using the two questions that we learned in class, ask someone at home for their telephone number and the telephone number of a friend. Write out both telephone numbers in a complete Spanish sentence. Please, no real telephone numbers! All numbers should begin with 555- ----. This assignment is due on Wednesday, October 19, 2011.

Grade 4: Complete your religious illustration for the Our Father prayer assignment. Your illustration needs to be drawn and colored neatly and with care. I want your very best work.
As a reminder, our next test will be on Thursday, February 2, 2012. Please use this early reminder to your benefit. Study a little each night. You will be surprised how much even five to ten minutes of studying each night will help.

These articles are very important in the material we are covering in class. Definite articles are essential when talking about things that we like. On the test you will find a list of objects in Spanish (the same objects that are in your notes) and you will be asked to give the correct definite article for each object. If you have any questions as to what you need to know for the test, please do not hesitate to ask me for help. I cannot answer a question that I am not aware exists. Recall that in order to know which form of each word to use, you must first know the definite article that comes with the regular term. I discourage you from using terms you don't know. It may look fancy to include a new word, but it will not be helpful when you can't recall the meaning of the word and can no longer understand what you have written.
