Me gusta (singular object) y (another singular object). Me gustan (plural object) tambien. (The plural object you just named in the previous blank) son (an adjective to describe the object). Mi mejor amigo(a) le gusta(n) (an object your best friend likes) mucho. Bring in a magazine or store advertisement that has things that you like in it. We will be making Spanish collages on Thursday. Grade 4: Complete your religious illustration for the Our Father prayer assignment. Your illustration needs to be drawn and colored neatly and with care. I want your very best work. As a reminder, our next test will be on Thursday, February 2, 2012. Please use this early reminder to your benefit. Study a little each night. You will be surprised how much even five to ten minutes of studying each night will help. January 18, 2012 Grade 5: We will have a test on definite articles on Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Please study the notes from December 9, 2011. The definite articles are as follows: el, la, los, and las. These articles are very important in the material we are covering in class. Definite articles are essential when talking about things that we like. On the test you will find a list of objects in Spanish (the same objects that are in your notes) and you will be asked to give the correct definite article for each object. If you have any questions as to what you need to know for the test, please do not hesitate to ask me for help. I cannot answer a question that I am not aware exists. Recall that in order to know which form of each word to use, you must first know the definite article that comes with the regular term. It may look fancy to include a new word, but it will not be helpful when you can't recall the meaning of the word and can no longer understand what you have written.
